Trust me, you very much should, and you should have the emails incoming marked, so you’d not accidentally delete them with other junk you kinda want, but kinda never read anyway. Other than that, it’s really easy to read, and there’s definitely great potential I’m still eager to see unfold. The story itself is a bit lacking too, but this could be due to world building, and the time it takes to begin stories like this, so I will refrain from judgement just now. The book is written very well, but some of the characters lack substance, seemingly only serving the plot for as long as it takes for the hero to reach their place and do their thing. My Opinion: Not gonna lie… It was a little bit underwhelming. And those who swore to protect the realm against it, the guardians, the light keepers. With only those who wish him to rise again aware of the forces gathering. Forgotten the great battle against the Dark King and his minions. Unaware why they done so, or why they chase him now, what great part he has in the world where magic was once forgotten. Pacat, first in the newest series of one of my favorite authors, who taught me that the books I needed – do exist, even if they’re a little bit late.Ībout the Book: Will is trying to stay one step ahead of the people who killed his mother. ![]() ![]() Finally I got my paws on the “ Dark Rise” by C.S. ![]()
